Explore mineral business with the right local support.
Mining investment, diamond assessment, a refinery concept and an equipment business all need different evidence. We help define the questions, investigate the counterparty and coordinate the local and specialist work needed for a considered decision.
Look beyond the commodity.
Sierra Leone’s mineral industry includes diamonds, gold, iron ore, bauxite and rutile. National Minerals Agency and USGS publications provide sector context; a particular asset or business requires its own assessment.
Mineral projects and operating partnerships
Investigate the rights holder, current project stage and technical information behind a mine or processing proposal. We coordinate company enquiries and introductions to appropriate independent specialists.
Diamond and gold services
Explore a gemology office, laboratory, refinery or processing partnership. We help arrange facility visits and discussions with qualified gemologists, assayers and technical advisers.
Equipment, workshops and logistics
An equipment fleet or engineering business needs customers, maintenance capacity and a reliable operating model. We research operators, potential partners and practical setup needs around your capability.
Review the business as a whole.
A credible assessment brings together company records, project documents, technical work and what can be observed locally.
Confirm who can act
Identify the company, owners, rights holder and authorised signatory. Coordinate current registration and licence enquiries with the relevant authorities and qualified local advisers.
Test technical claims independently
Match the specialist to the question: geology for a resource claim, engineering for a plant, or laboratory and gemology expertise for material assessment. Agree the method, evidence and reporting scope.
Visit with a defined purpose
A useful mine or facility visit has a host, permissions, safety arrangements and a list of points to examine. We organise the local coordination and follow-up record for the agreed assignment.
Build your enquiry around a real decision.
The more specific your business question, the more useful the local work can be.
Review an introduction
Have you received a mining proposal or been introduced to a mineral business? Start with the company name, proposed activity and the claims you need assessed.
Establish a service business
Tell us about your equipment, qualifications, previous work and intended customers. We can help investigate an operating partner, workshop location or customer-meeting programme.
Coordinate material handling support
Where relevant, we can arrange independent testing, witnessed processes and enquiries about suitable safekeeping services. Custody, insurance, access and documentation need clear terms with the appointed providers.
Different minerals. Different evidence.
National Minerals Agency profiles and the U.S. trade guide describe the country’s mineral sector. Occurrence, exploration, production and commercial viability are different claims; each proposed asset needs current, independent evidence.
Gold and diamonds
Start with the company, licence, source and custody of the material or the specific project being proposed. Gold testing and diamond assessment need appropriate independent specialists. For a kimberlite or alluvial project, geological evidence and an operating assessment are separate from the appearance of a sample.
Iron ore and bauxite
Research the proposed mine, material quality, processing needs and route to an identified customer. Bulk-mineral economics depend on the particular operation, transport and handling arrangements. We can coordinate operator enquiries, facility visits and technical introductions for the relevant business model.
Rutile and zircon
NMA describes zircon at Gbangbama as a by-product of rutile mining. That context does not prove that material, rights or capacity are available to a new entrant. Investigate the actual rights holder, separation process, output specification and customer requirements for the proposal.
Lithium
NMA publishes lithium indications and a Kalangba profile. Treat this as a starting point for geological enquiries. Request current exploration evidence, sampling methods, rights and independent technical interpretation; a published occurrence is not proof of an economically recoverable reserve.
Tantalum and coltan
NMA describes columbite-tantalite mineralisation in Kono. If presented with a tantalum or coltan proposal, establish what material or asset is meant, its origin and the analytical evidence. Independent specialists should examine grade, traceability and processing assumptions before commercial conclusions are drawn.
Build a service business around a defined operation.
The January 2026 U.S. trade guide identifies equipment, engineering and plant maintenance among mining support activities. The practical next step is to research a real customer and the work it buys.
Mining services and equipment
For drilling support, fleet rental, technical services or spare parts, describe your capability and previous delivery. Investigate the customer’s requirements, equipment standards, operator competence and local maintenance needs before moving machines into the market.
Processing and plant support
A processing facility, laboratory or engineering service needs a defined feed material and technical scope. We coordinate meetings and introductions to qualified specialists who can assess plant condition, test work, operating needs and the evidence behind performance claims.
Energy and operating infrastructure
Power systems, water services, workshops and access infrastructure must fit the intended operation. Investigate the actual load, reliability, site constraints and responsibilities with engineers and the relevant providers. No national mineral profile establishes a ready customer for an energy project.
Logistics and industrial locations
Assess routes, loading arrangements, storage, port interfaces and the suitability of a workshop or warehouse. We help organise site visits and counterpart discussions so your commercial team can evaluate a realistic service footprint and delivery plan.

Business & Government Meeting Coordination
Prepare meeting requests and coordinate business or public-sector appointments, subject to availability and approval. We are independent of government.
Your questions, answered.
A starting point for a more informed conversation.
Can you help assess a diamond or kimberlite project?
We can coordinate company and rights enquiries, site visits and introductions to qualified geologists and diamond specialists. A resource or valuation conclusion requires the appropriate independent technical work.
Can you verify a company before I travel or commit funds?
We can scope checks into the company’s identity, representatives, documents and stated activity. The report should distinguish evidence confirmed, limitations and outstanding questions; the scope depends on the information available.
Can you arrange a certified gemologist or assay specialist?
We can coordinate introductions and appointments with suitable qualified specialists. Their credentials, scope, independence and reporting arrangements should be confirmed for the assignment.
Tell us what you want to build.
Share your target market, sector and plans. We can help you define the research, introductions and local support to move forward.
