Before you apply

A few things
worth knowing.

Can I apply as an individual or a local agent?

Yes. Experienced independent professionals and country representatives can introduce their expertise, as well as companies. Explain the work you can deliver and your local experience. Applying does not appoint you as an agent or authorise you to speak, sign or collect money for Capital Africa; any mandate must be separately agreed in writing.

Is this only for travel and tourism businesses?

The programme covers business advisory support, local research, due diligence, technical site visits, company setup, trade logistics and client introductions, as well as travel and visit services. Choose every category relevant to your work.

Which countries are you looking at?

We are particularly interested in expertise in Guinea and Sierra Leone, alongside the other African markets Capital Africa covers. You can also introduce experience in another African country. Applications are reviewed against client needs and our ability to oversee the work; listing a country does not mean services are already available there.

How do fees and referral arrangements work?

The commercial arrangement depends on the role and engagement. Service fees, any referral fee, payment timing, expenses and responsibilities must be discussed and recorded before work or introductions begin. There is no standard commission rate or guaranteed volume of work advertised here.

What do you expect from verification partners?

Clear sources, dates, a defined scope and an honest account of what was checked and what could not be confirmed. Relevant conflicts must be disclosed. Legal, engineering and other regulated opinions require appropriately qualified professionals. A review must never be presented as a guarantee of a transaction or recovery.

Can I support government meetings or specialist services?

You can describe relevant experience coordinating formal appointment requests, interpretation and visit logistics. Government meetings depend on the authority’s approval. Legal, customs, security and other regulated services require the appropriate local authorisations; a claimed connection is not a substitute for them.

What should I send with the first application?

A concise business introduction, your countries and cities, service capacity, languages and relevant experience. Please use the form without attaching identity documents, confidential client files or bank details. If the fit is suitable, we will discuss references and supporting documents through an appropriate channel.
